Is Sid safe to have at home?
Yes. Sid flies at max 2 m/s indoors and uses ultrasonic + IR sensors to avoid obstacles, people, and pets. The Betavolt nuclear microcell is sealed and completely safe — the same technology used in pacemakers.
How loud is Sid?
Sid's flight is quiet — comparable to a ceiling fan. His voice (chirps, hums, sighs) ranges 40–85 dB and is warm, not shrill. He can be set to silent mode when you work or sleep.
Does Sid work without WiFi?
Yes. Sid's local AI runs fully offline — he flies, recognises you, responds to touch and voice, and maintains his presence without any internet connection. Claude API activates when WiFi is available for deeper conversation.
Where does Sid ship?
